The city of San Francisco covers a large and extended geographical area characterized by rolling and steep hills, canyons and valleys. Each district or neighborhood is distinguished and offers a unique cultural and architectural perspective. These neighborhoods are like small towns with in the city; from Chinatown, to “Little Italy”, Japan town, Spanish/Latin American colorful Mission District to the eclectic Haight-Ashbury, and all the way to the Billionaires Row of Francisco Pacific heights.
Many of these picturesque districts are prohibited to bus tours including the famous Lombard street, the crookedest street in the city, the painted ladies homes on Alamo Square, Telegraph Hill, Sea Cliff , Baker Beach, Hyde Street in the Russian Hill and Marina District. However, our SUV custom tour is not restricted to any one of these areas and you will even drive down on the iconic Lombard, the crookedest street of California to enjoy the thrills of a onetime ride in this scenic and steep hill. We also customize your private tours according to your own time and preference.
Let our passionate and professional tour guide carry you away from the crowded downtown and show you the best sights of San Francisco including beautiful beaches like Baker Beach and Ocean Beach, the Golden Gate Park, Stow Lake, Lombard Street, Coit Tower, the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, North Beach "Little Italy", Nob Hill, Haight- Ashbury, the Palace of Fine Arts, Pacific Heights, Union Square, Civic Center , Twin Peaks, Alamo Square, the Fisherman's Wharf, Bay Bridge, Embarcadero, the Financial District, Crissy Field , the historic Presidio, Marina District , and many famous movie filming locations as well.
After 4 hour private guided tour, your personal driver-guide will drop you off at Pier 39; will redeem your bay cruise tour vouchers so you embark on the next Bay Cruise that’s last about one full hour in San Francisco Bay. The bay cruise terminal is located in the heart of San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf where you can enjoy dining before or after the bay cruise tour. You may also explore the famous attractions located in the Fisherman’s Wharf after the bay cruise such the Maritime National Historic Park or The Musee Mecanique, visit Boudin or Ripley's Believe It or Not and the Wax Museum , all offer different views of history, and allow visitors to interact with the exhibits. We recommend that you choose one of the hotels located in the Fisherman's Wharf for your convenience. You may also ride the historic cable care back to your hotel as the drop off is not included at the end of the tour.
Some of the famous hotels located in Fisherman's Wharf include the historic Argonaut Hotel, Hilton Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco Marriott and Courtyard, the Sheraton, Radisson, the Best Western Tuscan Inn, the Fairmont Heritage Place at Ghirardelli Square, and the Holiday inn among others.
